[Brigham Young Sermon] President Brigham Young call for the reading of the circular giving instructions on caring for fruit, on making wine, after which he alluded to the provisions of the United Order for the benefit and blessing of those who prove themselves faithful thereto. He said, some may think we will be fooled in entering this holy order. I will tell you who will be fooled, the man or woman who is tardy in entering into this combination. The Latter-day Saints are a hundred times, if not a thousand times, more ready to enter into any order which God may reveal, than they were in the days of Joseph Smith the Prophet. I will say to him, who drinks wine to excess '- Stop it! What shall we do with those who are not obedient to the requirements of the United Order? Take their names off the book, disfellowship them?
