[Anthony W. Ivins] Quarterly Conference of Twelve at Temple ... Bro[ther]. Lyman said First Pres[idents]. of 70 when they visit the Stakes of Zion, should give more attention to the 70s. Should instruct them, live with them, discipline them, etc. All of the brethren spoke. Immorality, Plural marriages, Priesthood movement etc.

Application to our day and time: U.S. Border Crisis ("Immorality" and "movement" of another sort).
ReplyDeleteSince all these illegal immigrants are Catholic, let now the Catholic Church draw from its billions and billions of dollars in its bank accounts worldwide the necessary funds to take care of all their needs. Maybe all the innumerable paid clergy in their church will donate their exorbitant salaries pro bono to the cause at hand.
The same comments can be applied to the LDS Church hierarchy - except of course their priestcraft salaries are not as exorbitant.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they should resettle all these illegal immigrants in Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, and Idaho - all states with large LDS populations to take care of them - and of course to eventually convert them.
