Joseph Smith's ONLY true successors in the church presidency were his 1st Counselor, Sidney Rigdon, and then, after Rigdon fell in 1847, William Bickerton in 1852. William Bickerton was baptized into Rigdon's organization (formed Apr.6,1845) in June 1845, and soon after was ordained to the Holy Priesthood (Elder), and shortly thereafter, was ordained a member of the Quorum of 70 Evangelists.
