185 years ago today - Jul 4, 1829

Martin Harris and W. W. Phelps both sign the so-called anti-masonic declaration of independence at Le Roy, N.Y. Both were third degree Masons.

    I vetted this entry going back to the original source (book) titled, "Light on Masonry" by David Bernard, pp.455-57.
    The correct date should be July 4,1828 (NOT 1829) and the Harris who signed this declaration was a George W. Harris (NOT Martin Harris).
