[Heber C. Kimball] 5 Thursday. Prair meeting in the after noon, the Twelve spoke of the wickness of Elder Rigdon. Went home and used the [divining] Rod. I got a witness Elder Richards would live, that we would over come our enimes. Rigdon, Bennet [John C. Bennett], Higbied [Higbees] ware combineing.

  3. And almost exactly 13 years later on Sunday Sep.6, 1857, 5 days before the Mountain Meadows Massacre, Brigham the fallen apostle who became the king of the devils in Utah territory preached: "I will desolate this whole Territory." (JOD 5:211).
