  1. This has always been done in The Church of Jesus Christ (WHQ: Monongahela, Pennsylvania), with the very big exception that EVERYBODY who is a worthy member partakes of the bread and wine - not just the quorum of 12 apostles - that was completely out of order and contrary to the commandments of Jesus Christ in 3rd Nephi of the BOM.

  2. Also, a deaconess (ordained SISTER only) prepares the sacrament table (deaconesses if tables such as for large attendance, i.e., a conference gathering - region conference and/or general church conference.

The deaconess ONLY is also responsible for purchasing the bread and wine and the sacrament linens & cloths that cover the tables (tables are constructed of wood only just as the cross of Calvary was of wood).

  3. Finally, we use ONLY clear transparent crystal for the sacramental cup (wine glass) and for the bread dish.
