150 years ago today - Oct 7, 1864 (Afternoon, Conference)

[Brigham Young Sermon] ... I have never particularly desired any man to testify publicly that I am a Prophet; nevertheless, if any man feels joy in doing this, he shall be blest in it. I have never said that I am not a Prophet; but, if I am not, one thing is certain, I have been very profitable to this people.

  1. See how Brigham lied. The truth was the complete reverse in that the LDS Church & its member's tithes was indeed profitable and enriching to Brigham the Embezzler, as noted below:

    Less than 15 years later on Oct 4, 1879, the 3rd District Court decrees that $999,632.90.of Brigham Young's estate actually belongs to the LDS Church.
