President Brigham Young; Delivered in the Bowery; November 6, 1864. After quoting D&C 107:53-55, President Young continues:
So, in like manner, every faithful son of God, becomes, as it were, Adam to the race that springs from his loins, when they are embraced in the covenants and blessings of the Holy Priesthood; and in the lapse of eternity, and in the progress of eternal lives, every true son of God becomes a king of kings, and a lord of lords, and it may also be said of him, as it was written of Jesus Christ, "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end."

ReplyDelete[9] And I do this that I [the Lord God] may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; FOR MY WORK IS NOT YET FINISHED; NEITHER SHALL IT BE UNTIL THE END OF MAN, NEITHER FROM THAT TIME HENCEFORTH AND FOREVER.
This verse and the verse quoted at the end of the Nov.6,1864 entry (Isaiah 9:7) is speaking about the government and work of God in the new heaven and the new earth in eternity, not the ability of men and women to copulate which is for this life only and ends forever at death. There is no begetting of spirit babies in the new heaven and new earth in eternity which contradicts the teachings of Jesus Christ in the gospel accounts. Marriage is for this life only.

[7] Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Brigham the fallen apostle who became a devil was the master corrupter of scripture.
