[Thomas Clawson] The [Reed] Smoot investigation was resumed in Washington [D.C.] on Monday. Brother George Reynolds Mrs. Mina Cannon Ellis J. H. Wallis August Lundstrom and John Nicholson have testified. Wallis and Lundstrom are both Apostates and they have revealed the signs, tokens and pen[a]lties of the Temple. It is most shocking to read of these things but he devil has his agents who are working as hard as they can to destroy the work of the Lord but in this they will fail.
